I kept thinking about the old refrain of the poor in literature, where the rich can take everything away except a person's memories, their experiences, their loves. To see that commoditised and traded among the elite, who eschew a life of their own to feed on the misfortunes of others was truly chilling. And, to be honest, scarily believable. What a fascinating world you've created, believable and scary as hell. Outstanding.
